Availability, time off, and your start address

In Cleaner OS you own your week: you tell the app when you can work, and your company schedules around it. Everything here starts on your Me page — tap your name at the top of Today to open it. Under Availability you'll find a status line with one of three readings — Add your start address to receive work, You're set to receive work, or You're set to receive work — any day, any time when you haven't narrowed your hours yet — plus a Start address row and a Working hours & time off row that opens the Availability screen.

Your start address

Tap Start address on Me to open a short form: street address, an optional apartment or suite line, city, state/region, and ZIP/postal code. As the form says, this is where you set out from — the app uses it to plan your route, and it's never shown to customers.

Until you've saved a street address, the status line reads Add your start address to receive work. Once it's saved you can be scheduled — and the line then tells you how widely: with working hours set it reads You're set to receive work, and with none set at all it reads You're set to receive work — any day, any time. Add hours to narrow it.

Working hours and split shifts

On the Availability screen, Working hours shows one card per day of the week. Once you have set hours on at least one day, a day with none reads Day off — that's how you mark days you don't work.

Setting nothing at all is not seven days off — it is the opposite. An empty week is read as no constraint, so you can be scheduled any day your company is open, and the screen says so in a banner above the days: "You haven't set any hours, so you can be booked on any day." To actually decline days, set hours on the days you do work — or use Time off below for specific dates.

These hours are used, not just stored: the day planner won't propose you for a visit that doesn't fit inside them, and the autopilot won't assign you one on its own. Your company can still ask you to take something outside them — that stays a decision a person makes, not one the app makes for you. If you haven't set any hours at all, nothing is assumed about your week and you can be scheduled at any time your company is open.

Time off

Below your working hours, Time off lets you block out days you're away — you won't be scheduled then. Pick a From and To date and tap Add; for a single day, choose the same date for both. Dates start from today onward, and once a range is fully in the past it drops off the list, so you only see what's current or upcoming. Remove a range anytime with the button next to it.

How your hours and pay stay honest

While a job is running, the timer shows your time on the job and stops counting at the visit's planned duration. Paid time for each visit is capped at your share of the visit's planned time — when a job is shared by a crew, the planned time is split evenly among the crew, so on a shared job the timer can keep counting after your paid time stops. If you're working the visit alone, your share is the full planned time. Either way, if a visit runs long, the extra time isn't added. The hours you see on Today and on the Money tab are the same hours your pay is calculated from — your hourly rate times that time, and always your own pay only. If your rate isn't set yet, the app says Rate not set yet rather than showing a fake zero. For the full Money tab walkthrough, see Your day and jobs.

Messages in your language

Under Settings on Me, the Language row picks your interface language. Messages you send are marked as that language and translated for others — the note under the composer on the Messages tab says the same: you write in your language, and it's translated for the business.

The Messages tab is one thread with your company. When your company has auto-translation turned on, incoming messages arrive in your language — you may briefly see Translating… while that happens — and you can flip any message between Show original and Show translation. If a translation fails, you simply see the original.
