Your day and jobs in the cleaner app
The cleaner app is built around one question: what's next? Four tabs sit along the bottom — Today, Schedule, Messages, and Money — with the round voice button beside them, and your Me page one tap away behind your name and avatar at the top of Today. This article walks through Today, Schedule, and Money: your day, your week, and your pay.
Start with Today
Today opens with a greeting and a snapshot of your day so far: the hours you've worked and a Jobs today count showing how many of today's visits are done. Hours come from your real starts and finishes and count up to each visit's planned length — the same cap your pay uses.
If you have a job running, a green In progress now banner appears above your list. Tap it to jump straight back to the live job. Below that is today's queue: one card per visit, showing the start time, the client's name, the type of clean, and the property. If nothing is booked, you'll see "Nothing scheduled for today."
Schedule and new assignments
The Schedule tab shows your whole week at a glance: a strip of days across the top with dots marking the days you have work booked, then your jobs grouped into Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming, and Past, with dates as headers so longer stretches stay readable.
Your company assigns work to you — there is no accept or claim step in the app. When a job is assigned to you or moved, it appears in the right place on Today and Schedule, and the screens update on their own while open. If you need certain days blocked out so you aren't scheduled, set that up under Availability and time off.
Reading a job's details
Tap any job card to open the full details:
- Who and what — the client's name and the type of clean (Standard clean, Deep clean, Move in/out, or Post-construction).
- When and Duration — the day and the start time in local time, plus how long the visit is planned to take ("about 1h 30m"). If the job isn't scheduled for today, a line under Start job says which day it is for, and starting it asks you to confirm first.
- Address & access — the street address, with the client's notes one tap behind it: how to get in, pets to expect, allergies to keep in mind, and where to park. It stays on screen for the whole visit, so the door code is still there when you're at the door.
- Service window — when one is set, this is the window of time the home is available for your visit. Plan to be on-site within it.
- Tasks — the room-by-room checklist for this visit, with a running done count.
At the bottom is the Start job button, which begins the visit and starts your timer. You can only run one job at a time — if another job is still live, the button is disabled and the screen says "Finish your current job first." For the full start-to-finish flow, including the checklist and photos, see Complete jobs and photos.
What the Money tab shows
Money leads with your Take-home pay for the week, along with your jobs and hours this week and, when available, your hourly rate. A This week chart breaks your hours down by day. Every figure here is your own pay, calculated from your hourly rate and the time you work, up to each visit's planned length.
A few honest details:
- If you've finished jobs but your company hasn't set your rate yet, you'll see Rate not set yet instead of a total — the app never counts unpriced work as zero.
- If some finished jobs don't have a rate yet, a note tells you they aren't counted, so a partial total never poses as the full one.
- When you finish a job, the Job complete screen shows You earned with your pay for that visit.
- Amounts are a running record of what you've earned: Earned so far. Your company pays this out; paying through the app isn't built yet. The app doesn't move money, and it doesn't show placeholder rows pretending otherwise.
