Import your clients from a CSV

If your client list lives in another tool or a spreadsheet, you can bring it over in one pass. Export a CSV from Jobber, ZenMaid, Housecall, or any spreadsheet, upload it on the Import your clients page in your owner cabinet, and the AI turns each row into a proposed client with a schedule and price. You review every row before anything is created — nothing goes live until you commit.

The page shows your progress through three steps: Upload, Review, Live. If your list is on paper instead, photograph it — photos feed the same review flow.

Upload your file

Under Or upload a CSV, choose your file and select Upload & read. You'll see Uploading… and then Reading with AI… before landing on the Review import screen.

You don't need to rename columns to match a template — the AI reads your headers and sample values as they are and works out which column is the client name, address, price, frequency, and so on. Your upload is stored privately and automatically deleted 30 days after import.

What the AI proposes

Each row of your file becomes an editable card showing the client, city, price, frequency (One-off, Weekly, Biweekly, Every N weeks, Monthly), days of the week, and an optional balance owed.

Fields carry a small confidence dot: green means the value was read directly from your file, yellow means it was inferred, and red means it's a guess. Hover a dot to see the level. One exception: the balance field is deliberately never shown green — even a balance read straight from your file gets a second look before you confirm it. If a row has no price, the AI suggests one and shows its one-line reasoning on the card — a suggested price is always marked low-confidence so you know to check it.

Review, fix, approve, or skip

Work through the cards. On each row you can:

A recurring client needs at least one weekday selected, or nothing can be scheduled — the card warns you and approval is blocked until you pick a day.

The review also flags duplicates. If a row looks like a client you already have, you'll see "Looks like existing client …" with a checkbox to link the row to that client instead of creating a new one. Rows that duplicate each other within the same file are called out too.

Balances owed are opt-in

If your export lists an outstanding balance, it appears in the Balance owed (optional) field with a due date. A balance is saved only when you tick Confirm this balance — create an invoice for it — unconfirmed balances aren't saved, and the AI never confirms one for you. Setting a past due date flags the invoice overdue in your Inbox. See invoices basics for what happens next.

Commit and go live

The bar at the bottom counts your approved rows. Select the commit button — it shows your exact count, like Commit 3 approved — and only those rows are imported, each becoming a client with its property and schedule. A summary then shows how many were imported, skipped, or still need review, with a button to review the remaining rows or jump to your schedule.

Two things an import never does:

Approved recurring clients appear on your schedule right away — see recurring series and scheduling.
