Invite your team
Your cleaners get their own app — a phone-first workspace with their schedule, job details, messages, and their own pay. Getting someone onto it takes one field: their email address.
Everything in this article happens on the Team page of your owner cabinet. (Inviting clients to their portal is a separate flow — see customer portal invites.)
Send an invite
Open Team and find the Invite a cleaner card. As the card says: "Enter their email — they'll get a one-tap sign-in link. No password needed."
- Type the cleaner's email address.
- Tap Send invite.
- You'll see a confirmation like "Invite sent to cleaner@email.com."
If you instead see "Invite saved, but the email failed to send — try resending," the invite itself was recorded; just send it again to the same address from the same form.
What your cleaner sees
Your cleaner gets an email with a sign-in link. Tapping it signs them in — no password to create — and lands them in the cleaner app on their Today view. From there they have four tabs — Today, Schedule, Messages, and Money — plus their Me page behind the avatar at the top of Today. See their day and jobs for a tour you can share with them.
Two things worth telling a new hire:
- The link only works for the email address you invited. If they sign in with a different address, they'll see "This invite was sent to a different email address. Sign in with the email that received it."
- Their first stop should be their Me page (they tap their name at the top of Today), where they add their start address and set working hours and time off so they're set to receive work.
Pending invites and expiration
Below the invite form, the Pending invites list shows every invite that hasn't been accepted yet, each with its email and an expiration date ("expires …").
Invites don't duplicate: sending another invite to the same address refreshes the pending one — a fresh link and a new expiration date. So if a link expires (your cleaner would see "This invite has expired. Ask your manager to send a new one."), or the email just gets buried, re-enter the same address and tap Send invite again.
To cancel an invite you no longer want, tap Revoke on its row. It disappears from Pending invites straight away and the link stops working. Revoking is not permanent: you can send a fresh invite to the same address any time afterwards.
Old invites also tidy themselves up: about a month after an invite expires or is used, it's removed automatically — so you only need Revoke when you want an outstanding link to stop working now.
Your roster
Once a cleaner accepts, they move out of Pending invites and into the Cleaners list. The header shows how many cleaners are on the team, and each roster row shows the cleaner's name and how many upcoming jobs they have — a quick read on who has capacity. Tap a row to open that person's page: whether they're set up to take work, their pay rate (editable there), the hours and time off they've set for themselves, and the visits they're booked for.
If someone leaves the company, open their page from the Cleaners list, then tap Remove from the team and retype their name to confirm. Any visits they were booked for that hadn't started yet go back on your board as unassigned, and the count is shown to you right away so you know how many need a new cleaner. They are also taken off any recurring plan they were the default cleaner for, and out of any property's standing crew — so no future visit is generated pointing at someone who has left. Work they already finished stays in your records. Their saved start address, working hours, time off and pay rate are deleted and can't be restored.
From here, the rest of your cabinet picks them up:
- Assign them work when you schedule jobs and series.
- Message them directly — your Messages hub has a Team section alongside clients.
- Set their pay: hourly rates live in your settings, with a company default rate plus per-cleaner overrides — see workspace settings.
What cleaners can and cannot see
Cleaners see exactly what they need to do their job, and nothing about your client pricing:
- They see: their own jobs (time, address, duration, tasks, access notes, notes from the client), their own hourly rate, what they earned on each completed job, and their week's take-home, jobs, and hours on the Money tab.
- They never see: what you charge clients, client invoices, or your margins. Prices stay between you and your customers.
So you can invite your whole team without worrying about pricing visibility — it's built that way, not a setting you have to configure.
