Your first week as an owner

Cleaner OS is built so that after a short setup, you spend your time approving, not operating. The AI does the routine work and brings you the few things that actually need a decision. Your first week is about getting to that point.

Here is the path most owners take: create the workspace, bring your clients over, invite your team, set up the schedule, then let the Inbox tell you what needs you.

Create your workspace

Start at Sign up: enter your name, email, and password, then confirm your account from the email we send and sign in. Because you don't have a workspace yet, you'll land on a single screen titled Name your company. Type your company name, check the region (US is prefilled), and tap Create workspace — that makes you the owner.

You'll arrive in the owner cabinet. On a phone, four tabs sit along the bottom — Pulse, Schedule, People (clients and team together), and Money — and your Inbox opens from Pulse; on a computer, the top bar carries all five, Inbox included. Messages sit behind the labelled chat button at the top of Pulse, next to Notifications. For a tour of how sign-in and the cabinets fit together, see Sign in and your cabinets.

Bring your clients over

Open the People tab (it starts on Clients) and tap Import. There are two ways in, and both end at the same review step:

The AI reads your file and proposes clients, schedules, and prices. You review each row: fix anything that's off, Approve what's right, Skip what's not, then commit the approved rows. Nothing is created until you approve and commit. Your upload is stored privately and automatically deleted 30 days after import.

Invite your cleaners

Go to the People tab, switch to Team, and find Invite a cleaner. Enter their email and tap Send invite — they get a one-tap sign-in link, no password needed, and land straight in their own cleaner app. Pending invites are listed with their expiration date, and each cleaner appears on your roster once they join. More detail in Invite your team.

Set up your first recurring schedule

If your import included recurring clients with days picked, your schedule is already built — the import's final step says so and links you to it.

To add a client by hand, open the Schedule tab and use Add a client or job — just describe it. Type it the way you'd say it: "2 bed 2 bath in Brooklyn, biweekly on Tuesdays, has a cat", then tap Parse. The AI shows what it understood — client, city, bedrooms, bathrooms, frequency, and a suggested price with a short rationale, plus the visit time (recurring schedules pre-fill 9:00 AM starting today; a one-off asks you to pick its day and time). Adjust anything, then tap Create. The recurring series becomes real upcoming visits, viewable as a list or a calendar. More in Recurring series and scheduling.

Let the Inbox run your week

From here, the Inbox is your home base (on a phone, open it from Pulse; on a computer it sits in the top bar): everything that needs a decision, handled with a tap — jobs that need a cleaner, overdue clients, and AI-drafted replies waiting for your Send, Edit in thread, or Discard. The AI drafts and proposes; nothing reaches a customer or changes the schedule until you approve it. When there's nothing pending, it simply says "You're all caught up."

Pulse (the home tab) greets you with a short brief of your week and how many things need you. If that number is zero most days, the setup worked. See The decisions Inbox.
